Multiple award-winning dancehall artiste Stonebwoy, had to walk off stage during his performance at the recently held Live FM grand launch when a fan came on stage and imitated how he (Stonebwoy) walks.
Days after the incident, a fan who was also at the show has penned down a letter to Stonebwoy on behalf of all #BhimNatives. “I am big fan of stonebwoy too and i was soo embarrassed. i wish people would keep sharing so it can go far..” he told GeorgeBritton.com
Read below his APOLOGY LETTER:
DEAR STONEBWOY, Please accept our deepest apologies for our mistake in regard to the behavior we put up on the 22nd January 2016 at the launch of LIVE FM.
Our behavior was extremely inappropriate, immature, and lacked all manner of respect. It was not our intention to create such an awkward and embarrassing situation for you, your brand, your management, the staff and colleagues at Live FM, the people present and your fans as a whole.
It was not our intention to cause any damage or inconvenience. While this is by no means an excuse for trying to imitate you by your way of walking. We felt very embarrassed after showcasing such an attitude all in the name of (love and over excitement) but we learned that nobody appreciated our poor behavior.
In the future, we have every intention of curbing our thoughtless actions and learn to adjust our behavior befitting the environment and situation.
We have read countless of articles flooding the blogs and websites of some media platforms. Some reading different meaningsinto the situation and not to talk of the replies and insults allover.
It was never our intention to mock you. And besides you always inspire us with the words in your song especially when you said, “SO IF I END UP AS A VICTIM OF CIRCUMSTANCE THAT DOESN’T MEAN I WOULDN’T RISE ABOVE IT.”
And yes indeed we know you have risen way above it up and running. Again, we are sorry for our actions and we hope that we can put this matter behind us and focus on the better things God has planned ahead for us.
