Two persons who attempted to rob a banker at Highways, a suburb of Koforidua are in the grips of the Effiduase police whiles other two accomplices are on the run.
www.dailyviewgh.com‘s OPTI reported that, the four suspected robbers illegally entered the house of the victim when no one was in the house through the window by cutting off the burglar proof with cutters, knives, and hammer.
An eyewitness, who is also a farmer, narrating the incident said a young pupil by name Rahina saw the robbers with some of the belongings of the victim outside the house when returning from school.
“I was in my farm closer to the incident scene when the student came and informed me of the robbery so I boldly rushed there and arrested one of the suspects whilst the rest took to their heels” He added.
Unfortunately for them, another one was arrested after the farmer shouted for help from the public leaving the other two to escape.
“The suspects are now in police custody to assist in investigations” Madam Felicity, the victim stated.
