A KIA truck full of supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been involved in a near-fatal accident.
The accident occurred on Banda Dorbor – Banda Ahenkro road in the Bono Region on Thursday, November 26, 2020, at about midday according to eyewitnesses’ account available to Daily View Gh.
Some of the injured supporters are currently receiving treatment at the Nsawkaw District Hospital and other health facilities in the Bono Region.
At least, 12 others were injured in the crash and had been rushed to the Nsawkaw District and Techiman Holy Family hospitals respectively for treatment.
This comes barely a week after NDC Fanatics in Ejura, a district in the Ashanti Region of Ghana have been reportedly involved in a car accident on their way to welcome John Mahama.
Six people died on the spot in that accident while about 50 others sustained various degrees of injuries. The accident reportedly happened at Frante, in the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
