Eight presidential aspirants on Friday submitted their nomination documents to the Electoral Commission to be considered as candidates for Election 2016. This brought the total number of aspirants to 17.
Commenting on the suit by the PPP, the Chairperson of the EC, Mrs Charlotte said she assumes that by the PPP bringing the money along with their nomination, she was of the opinion that they have withdrawn the court case.
She therefore questioned why they brought the money since they knew the case was in court
